Google Vs. Pankcho

Google Vs. Pankcho es un simple proyecto personal que estaré haciendo este verano, donde trataré de sacar fotos desde el mismo ángulo que las cámaras del Google Maps Street View. Como han pasado algunos años, la idea es ver las diferencias y semejanzas que hay entre estos lugares hoy en día con el pasado. Claro, hay que tomar en cuenta que yo no uso un objetivo gran angular y que la cámara de Google está a unos cuantos metros del suelo porque va en un “trípode” sobre el techo de un coche.
¿Conoces un sitio de Barcelona que haya cambiado mucho recientemente? ¿Algún lugar en específico que te gustaría ver? ¡Dímelo y trataré de fotografiarlo y hacer la comparación!

Google Vs. Pankcho is a simple personal project that I’ll be doing this summer, where I’ll try to take pictures from the same angle that the cameras of the Google Maps Street View. Since some years have passed, the idea is to see the differences and similarities that there are in this places today with the past. Of course, take in consideration that I don’t use a wide angle lens and that the Google camera is a some meters high above the floor because it’s on a “tripod” over the roof of a car.
Do you know any place in Barcelona that have changed a lot recently? An place in specific that you would like to see? Let me know and I’ll do my best to take a picture of it and do the comparision!

I agree with Jessica! I know some people who love to check out places on Google Maps before visiting them, so this will help them get a true feel of the place. Great idea!
